Obituary of Erlis Freeman

Erlis Cereta Belgrave Freeman; the daughter to the late Edwin and Mary Belgrave Lowe of Sedge Pond, St. Peter, Barbados, WI made her eternal transition to be with her Lord on Monday, September 3, 2018.

She migrated from Barbados to England and later to her present residency in the United States of America in Brooklyn, NY. During her time in New York, she resided with her loving husband Vernon Freeman who she adored and cared for deeply. She held several jobs as a Health Aide; she retired from Self Help.

In 1979, she took membership at the Preparation Church of God where she was a loyal and dedicated Missionary; her favorite prayer was to mention Mothers Boys and Girls; she had had a burden for souls; especially family far and near. She was very active in Missionary Outreach making many visits to the sick and shut in. She found it a joy to serve tea to the bretheren. We will not forget the powerful words she woould speak t owhoever she met "GOD IS LOVE". We will miss her sweet smile, kindness and unique disposition.

God said to her your battle is over; I have promised you in my word ~ Rev 13:14 And I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

She leaves to mourn her loving husband, Vernon;Son, Kenneth Belgrave and dedicated stepson Mark; a special niece, Herline Belgrave; a host of nieces and nephews, The Preparation Church of God Holiness Church family and friends. Perceding her in death ~ Siblings (Belgraves) -- Ephna, Clostene, Irma, Franklin, Cosbert, Glen and Leroy. Rest in Eternal Peace We Love You.
