Obituary of Bruce Wayne Evans
Bruce Wayne Evans was born on October 1, 1959 in York, Alabama to Laura Evans and the late Walter Evans Sr. His time spent on earth came to a halt on February 16, 2018 at Lincoln Hospital, Bronx, New York. Bruce received his education at York, Alabama schools and ultimately graduated from Sumter County High School in 1977. Upon moving to New York in 1978, Bruce landed a position as an assistant elevator mechanic. Shortly after achieving this milestone, he graduated trade school and became an Elevator Mechanic in 1983 where he worked for the next 20 years. After leaving the realm of mechincs, he spent the remaining years of his life working within security.
Bruce was very mysterious - known to most as a gentle giant, he was a strapping, quiet man that kept to himself. Although he was very reserved, he was a delightful soul when he did open up to those who took the time to get to know him. He lived a simple life and only allowed for his presence to be shown through music.
